Just ran across this video and if you are looking for another Ford 6000 for parts or restoration my dad has one that needs a new home. Engine is free and it has not ran for about 12 years or so. Locations is East of Watertown SD on the Minnesota side. We are cleaning up the property and this has to go somewhere.

I would hope you know the white wash keeps the wood from rotting due to the ammonia and corrosive nature of cow manure… it’s not just to make it “look sanitary”. Very surprised you pay to have it white washed and don’t know how important it is to maintain the structure of your barn

I had a tr 86 and a tr99 it wasn’t till I got a cr9040 that run the rotor speed at 1000 rpm for beans what a difference.

We farmed for 47 years had all new equipment 2 hired men we paid 12 a hour we wasn't organic farmer we didn't have money problems you guys have to be managing something wrong we had 11 jd tractors maybe you guys need to hired a good manager I don't mean to bust your butt but you always cry about money

The best way to prevent the cows from getting sick is to administer the pill magnets BEFORE the cows get sick. Once the magnets are in the cow's stomach, the metal is attracted by the magnet preventing the puncture.

Sweet ride...it appears you have what is called a "taper lock" flywheel. Do any of your videos show any work on this? I've got the same and am getting ready to reinstall it and hear there is a special way to put it on. Any help is appreciated.

Great video...glad some one sees the advantage of green manure crops as a soil improver. Do you follow the plowed alfalfa with corn or wheat? My uncle used to follow his alfalfa plowdown with winter wheat then corn. Otherwise if you put corn right after plowing down the alfalfa it would be a mess cultivating the corn with all the alfalfa roots not rotted away. Just curious what you guys do. This was my uncles method and it worked well on sandy loam soil. Your videos are great!

i got a 4240...had the same prolems for years. Until i replaced all the ac lines with new ones. Come to find out rust was inside the lines and eating the compressors up by a average on one every year. John Deer should have installed stainless ac lines. One hot hell hole when the ac aint workingi right and its 100 outside. Unbearable
